NGI has invested in a new compressor after an energy examination.

In collaboration with the company - Reno Nord - NGI has examined the compressed air consumption in connection with the investment in a new compressor.

The calculations below show the annual energy consumption of compressed air and emission in 2020 vs. after the new compressor was installed and leaks removed from the system in 2021

The reason behind the energy savings is primarily the removal of leaks in the system, however, with the new compressor, NGI has removed pressure drops in the system, peaked load and minimized the operating hours which will also save energy as well as maintenance.
